Technology
Sense. Understand. Act. Record.
Four ideas shape everything we build. They are the same for a wicket, a boundary, a bowler or a pool.
01
Sense
Sport happens in a few milliseconds, outdoors, in rain, dust and heat. We start from what can be measured reliably in those conditions, not what looks good in a lab.
02
Understand
A reading is not an answer. We use applied AI at the edge, on the device, to tell a real event from noise, and to do it fast enough to matter.
03
Act
When a system is sure, it can respond. When it is not sure, it should say so. Acting only on confirmed events is the rule that protects the game from false calls.
04
Record
Every event leaves a record that officials, coaches and players can review later. Trust comes from being able to check the work.
Principles
Respect the game
Equipment must look, feel and behave like the equipment players already know. We add intelligence without changing the sport.
Confirm before acting
False positives cost more than missed events in a sport that lives on its decisions. Our designs lean towards certainty.
Test where it is played
Prototypes leave the bench early. Grass, nets, pool decks and dew do not behave like a workshop.
Say what we know
We label stages honestly and make no claim we have not tested. Safety claims wait for independent testing.
Keep data close
Where we can, intelligence runs on the device and data stays with the people it concerns.
Work with the people who play
Officials, groundstaff, coaches and sport scientists shape the questions before we build the answers.
Intellectual property
We are protecting what we invent. Our first patent application is on file and further applications are in preparation, so we share direction and stage here rather than mechanisms.
If you are a board member, partner or investor, we are glad to share more under a confidentiality agreement.
