Pool safety working name

Drowning is quiet. Pool safety is an early concept for something a swimmer wears that helps the people responsible for them notice sooner. It supports supervision. It never replaces it.

Concept

The problem

Drowning rarely looks like it does in films. It is fast and silent, and it can happen in a pool full of adults. Lifeguards and parents watch carefully, and still the margin is seconds.

Any tool in this space must be treated as a second pair of eyes, never a substitute for the first.

Who it is for

— Lifeguards and aquatics centres.

— Swim schools and clubs.

— Parents of young swimmers.

Our approach

We are at the concept stage, working on what a useful alert looks like, and how to make one that is reliable enough to be worth wearing. Safety claims will wait for independent testing.
